Liquid nitrogen fertilizers are an aqueous solution of urea and ammonium nitrate (CAS). CAS contains carbamide amide nitrogen and ammonium and nitrate nitrogen of ammonium nitrate. Nitrogen introduced into the soil is easily absorbed by plants, with the highest effect affects them when there is a need for rapid foliar fertilization. CAS solutions can also be used for the preparation of double and triple liquid mixtures. Depending on the nitrogen content affecting the crystallization temperature and, consequently, the limits of application according to climatic conditions, fertilizers are produced in two brands: CAS-30, CAS-32. To reduce the corrosive properties, the CAS solution contains a corrosion inhibitor.
